  1. I have bought my “Collectables" from Seedsman, Barney’s Farm and Ali Bongos from this list. All good. Must try Mephisto as @macky is always banging on about how good they are and I grow autos… I mean collect autos.

  2. Living in Australia, I was a little hesitant to buy any seeds online. After reading through some of the other threads, I decided to give Ali Bongos a go.
Not only did I get 10% off at checkout, they also threw in a bonus seed, sent it in a nice little tin with an Ali Bongos tote bag.
It was an excellent first experience. 😊

  3. @morgasmo I’ve found this to be true for myself as well as I progress further into this medical hobby. I’ve got a ton of “Mainstream Seed Bank" seeds that I have, to be honest, put into storage because there are so many other, better seeds available through the “old-school" way of getting seeds…getting to know someone!

  4. I used to get beans from Seedsman and Gowerschoice, when I was a beginner. Seedsman was great but really slow pre-2018, now that they have expanded to the USA and the farm bill is still in good shape (for now), they are speedier but are having issues with data breaches. Lately I’ve been sourcing gear direct from breeders on IG and have fallen in love with North Atlantic Seed Co. ordering from Mephisto & Great Lakes Genetics. I also find older packs and off the wall breeding packs on Strainly. All normally come with extras/freebies.

  5. @firetop95 Zamnesia, Barney’s, and Dutch Pride all have excellent stealth shipping from my experience. Zamnesia has a US site but is originally out of the Netherlands so they get that need as well. They have their original EU site (NL) in addition to their expanded site in the US.

  6. I’ve got a few recommendations to make!
Cannarado – great breeder, I’ve grown out 3 different strains from this breeder and all have been frosty and beautiful a little on the pricey side, but we’ll worth it in my experience.
Irvine Seed Co – seed bank that also does some breeding of their own, ISC has a free tester program where you can get 3 free regular seeds of an F1 cross they’re working on. The tester strains change up regularly. They also have a wide selection of regular seeds for $3 apiece and fems for $4 apiece.
Seed Queen Seeds – more of a hobbyist breeder, I initially bought from SQS because they were cheap and had a strain I was interested in (green crack). Every pack from SQS is $35 US and comes with a random 3 pack of seeds. They really hook up the freebies and everything I’ve grown out has been really nice.

  7. I heard that interview as well on a podcast, yeah very knowledgeable indeed it’s amazing what they can do know on that note I remember listening somewhere that the powers that be are very close to getting edible crops that don’t need any sunlight and can grow in the dark , that would be a game changer especially on the weed front

  8. @noodlebowl I watched an interview with SabastianGo, the front man for Fastbuds420. Very interesting and knowledgeable guy regarding all things cannabis, but autos in particular. It’s pretty clear, at least to me, that Autos are still being developed and improved and it won’t be long, relatively speaking, before they are 100% on par with Regs and Fems in respect to quality and quantity of the end product. The thing we are all looking for, good bud and lots of it!

  9. Are all seed packs dated so you know when it is a legitimate sale or just getting rid of old stock? Is that an advantage of buying from a seed bank vs. a grow store where legal? (Plus, the seed bank will store in proper conditions, but seed packs sitting on a shelf may degrade over time.)

  10. My last two orders were from Zamnesia and Barney’s Farm. They were both running a decent sale last week for the strains I wanted. It’s best to subscribe to all the seed site’s emails, and pay attention to their marketing for a few months before buying. Some site’s are asking ridiculously high prices.

  11. Great list of Seed Banks and Breeders. I’m currently growing 4 strains that I got from The Vault. Highly recommend them. I’d also add MSNL as a seed bank. I bought from them on my first grow last year and both strains did very well.

  12. I would like to see Zamnesia Seeds as recommended supplier. I’ve had very good luck with this seed bank and can recommend them without hesitation. Quick shipping, discrete packaging, decent prices (relatively speaking). Can’t speak to their customer service because I haven’t had to use it.

  13. @backblast I’m not certain about state laws with respect to seeds but the Post Office is governed by the Federal Government so they won’t be stopping any seed shipments. Im not familiar with laws in all 50 states but the state would need a search warrant to open up your mail and I seriously doubt the courts would be granting mass warrants to search packages. I live in a prohibition state and have never had any problems getting seeds. This just gives me more assurance that I can order anytime without fear of retribution.

If I ever get hassled about seeds I’ll say they are hemp and if they want to find out differently then they will need to grow them 😉

  14. @stonewolf some I have addressed to myself, others to different names or my forum handle, but never to my house, I order them addressed to my work. The boss doesn’t mind so it’s all sweet. But I would recommend sending them to a safe address that doesn’t tie back to you if you can. I would still order stealth shipping, just to make sure they get through customs.

  15. I thought it might be a good place to remind the US growers that the DEA recently re-classified cannabis seeds as hemp so your seed shipments should be safe now. I’ve never had any issues but this should mean that nobody will have issues with seeds in the US, at least small growers like us won’t.

  16. @stonewolf alibongo seeds or Weed seeds express will get your beans through customs. I have had multiple shipments from them and everything landed without issue. And I’m in NSW so if theu were going to get picked up they would have by now.
Usually theu get here within 2 weeks and as a Percy member both have discount codes you can use 🙂
