Hi all these plants are around 2 weeks old from seedlings and there doing amazing,I did plan to run them indoors but again I have more unexpected work going on in the house so I'm going to stick it out in the green house,so far IV popped all 4 in a Coco eco thrive mix of about 80%Coco the rest eco thrive and theyv been outdoors for about the last 10 days, I have a small square pot I need to check the diameters of but mabey able to use if it hits the right requirements,
I'm currently waiting for a new batch of eco thrive to land aswell as some super charge even tho I'm probs not going to need to use it,I'm planning what style of mini tree I'd like and once IV drawn it out we'll see what's achievable 😂

Hi all thought I'd update today as it's bang on 14 days-(2 WEEKS 😆) from seed,
I plan to start training from week 4 onwards I'll repot at week 3 and allow them to find there roots before there rollercoaster life starts,
Next update will be on the 1st of may bringing us to week 3 👍👍
@firetop95 What size are you going to pot up to? I'm sorting out how I am going to proceed before I pop beans. I bought some inexpensive plastic bonsai pots to use, and they are just under the size requirement, but I think I will need to grow the young seedlings in something smaller when they are young to keep the roots limited. At least, I think so, 😆. Its not like I know what I am doing with bonsai! 🤣
@im_sparky I havnt measured my pot just yet but will in next few hours and I'll let ya know, I'm trying the long root method instead of a moss bed effect or what ever so I'm trying for long roots so I can weave them as the plant grows,
I'm using a cardboard tube out of a toiletroll to achieve the goal in mind then when time comes to final fase I can spread her roots out and about and let them sink on with time I'll put a couple pictures up of what I mean in a few hours 👍👍
That type of look in a sense but a little different is what I'm going for rather them flat moss bed effect

@im_sparky that's the pot I'm going to use for veg and first root development stage then I'll pick a prettier one for the final photo shoot lol,I'll mesure it tomorrow and let you know.
In updates on the plant side of things iv got 2 winners for the project and luckily it's one of each strain,even tho I can only enter one plant I want to test my skills and train 2 if possible and see how both plants compare.n
The sprouts are now on week 3 and looking good and healthy i plan to transplant them this week and start looking at root shape options,I'm still looking for a figure or stone of some kind to form the look I'm going for but all in due time 😆(time waits for no plant/man) once IV picked what I want to suffocate in roots I'll uproot and update you all with the next steps.

Hi all been slacking a little last couple days work and life have threw a curve ball my way so havnt been able to do much other then water the girls once or twice in the last 7 days,I'm a bit busy tomorrow but plan to set the strawberry cough on her podium and start getting to work,I'll update you all tomorrow if I get chance but if not it'll be Friday

measure and photograph my pot and it's dimensions I'll also show what method I'm trying with the long root style and how I'm attempting to achieve it I'll also let you in on what I plan to let the roots suffocate 👍

Pot size
Starter pots and the size of the girls picked for the challenge,IV taken 1 of each 1 strawberry cough and 1 good shit UK
I tipped both sets of plants out into a large green tray so I could dig threw the roots and pick witch one I wanted
I then placed 1 strawberry cough into the small black tray and as a side project I put the good shit UK into a larger but same depth tray I then topped both plants tied them down and placed them back in the green house
Sorry for the shit photos this time round been stealth as possible and the nabours where out pluss I'm a little shaky handed today nerves are acting up,
