If you grow in coco or dwc ,you are growing hydroponically yes/no ? If yes why do you need different nutrients for coco and DWC ?

  My step son just harvested 6 plants and I told him I would take all of his soil from his 5 gallon pots  that his plants were in because I can't see it all thrown away 30 gallonsin total!! He uses Fox Farm Happy Frog and does water only from start to finish. 

 My question is, can I toss some red wigglers in there and some ground up gnarly barley and let the worms and other Critters I introduced to the soil re amend itself for a couple months or so? Thinking about starting up another living soil bed and this would be a good start.

Hello , I was thinking a grow guides question , on seeds .

When planting your seed . Which way around do you plant it ? 

Also what do you do when the seed sprouts but still has the seed shell attached ? 

Also Phils question has made my brain explode .

Not that I do any gardening on a full moon California is full of werewolves & Vampires if you didn’t know!

How can i prevent the ph of my feed from swinging out of range when i come back to it. For an example i ph at 5.55 i come back a day later and it will be 6.4. Should the feed be stored in a certain way to prevent this.
