Hoping you fine folk wouldn’t mind having a look at these 2 and offer advice. Overall looks ok, a bit bushy, but noticing a trend. Last few plants have all ended up getting these yellow spots on fan leaves. As well as rusty spots, gradually seems to progress no matter what I try to adjust. Starts off at about week 3 of flower, and here is a rundown of stats:

5x5x7 tent

SF4000 QB light, 425 w give or take

200 cfm intake

250 cfm exhaust fan

both fans run 24/7

rh lights on- 45-50

rh lights off- 55-60

dwc cooler, 35L capacity with 8” air stone and pretty much an air comp feeding it, water looks like it’s boiling

solution- green planet nutes at 50% strength, 3 part series, voodoo juice

5.8-6.0 ph range, usually. 35L Rez seems to hold ph well

currently at 650 ppm

66-68f temps

2 fans inside tent for airflow

At this stage I use tap water, after bubbling for 12 hrs, and starting ppm is 150. Was putting in cal mag at about 1 ml/ litre when I had ppm readings of 1150-1300 which I now know is too rich. Tap water should have enough cal mag according to city analysis. So just did a quick flush of roots, clean and refill with fresh juice. Will be checking vitals later on to see how the new mix is going. Sorry for the long post, but would like to get on top of this trend and really appreciate any help. Hoping pics turn out ok, thanks a bunch.

I think your solution is too hot. Try 600 ppm. Also add some cal mag.

I think 650 ppm Is a little low for a plant of that size mate. She looks a bit hungry. You will need some cal/mag in the feed, as youre using QB lighting, which is intense and makes plants use more calcium/

What exacltey are you putting into the res now? Like A n B? Grow or bloom, and how much per litre Smile

@macky

3 part series as follows:

micro- 2ml/L

grow- .75 ml/L

bloom- 3 ml/L

vitathrive- 2 ml/L

rezin- 2ml/L

massive bloom- 5 ml/L

liquid w8-1.5 ml/L

35L res, and the current mix is for 14L total, so say 40% of what their feed chart recommends. I have only gone down to that recently, have been feeding as per chart up to this point.

How much cal mag should I use, was using it at 1 ml/L but did not add to this new mix. Thanks guys, appreciate your time and input.

This seems like a lot mate.

I know its only 40% of what the guide says, but i think It over all too much for the plant, gotta keep it simple. less is more 😉

When you drop the feed the way you have, there will be changes in the plant, as it adjust to how much food is in the medium now.

Some of the salts will leech out of the plant, and into the water raising the EC and ph a little.

0.5 ml of calmag per litre is usually plenty.

I would need to look into these nuits to know for sure whats in them. but Bloom, massive bloom, and liquid weight all sound like flower enhancers. This can be too much PK.

I think you would be better of just going with the bloom, and dropping the massive bloom and liquid weight.

give them more of the basics things they need and they will be happy. The more food you add, the more confusing it gets for you and the plants. Keep it simple man Smile

Micro, Bloom, some calmag, maybe some silica and root stim. Thats all you really need.

Ok sounds good. Will do just that at next change, figure 5 days from now, if that ok for time. Leave out the extras, and will add the cal mag back in. Keep to 50% of chart still? Thanks a lot Macky.
