Popped two seeds, only room for one tho.
Using root riot plugs to start, having better luck with these over rockwool. I put the seeds directly in the plugs @ 2300 hrs. 08/31/2022, roots poking out the bottom two days later.
Nice strain, they can be very good producers. Nice big girls, good luck picking just one, you better get the Growroom Stretch out. lol
@woodi2, I could always change plans. We’ll see what I talk myself into by the time I get back from vaca. The micro-grow should all be done and down by first week back, was going to put one afghan in there (in the 2x2). Then “Chocolope” planned for the RDWC upon our return. I could always throw a sheet of plywood over the buckets, keep the two afghan’s and do two chocolope in supersoil also (in the 4x4).
IDK, we’ll see how nice these two look in three weeks!
@sevans1965, yeah, lol every time I needed 2 plants I'd plant 3 to make sure of success, then when it came time to choose, those cutie adorable little green munchkins, would make my Grinch style heart grow three sizes bigger and I'd be build an addition the next day to accommodate them. lol Good luck man, glad you get a Va-Kay, you might need it, LOL!! I think my auto Afghan netted an lb, if memory serves. lol
2 days with their first cannabis shaped leaves, that’s a good sign 
Sunday roots already poking out the bottom of the cubes so I moved them into their final pots yesterday. I’ll keep them under the T5 for at least a week yet.
Giving the Blumats a test drive, to see if I can keep my house/dog sitter out of the picture while on vaca. I put a mark on some masking tape so I can get an idea of consumption. If it works, I need to spray up some jugs to keep the light out of the water.
16 days in, last 6 days unsupervised! Blumats got the job done. Now to re-arrange the big tent, and move these girls over so I can get the Mrs.’s Chocolope started.
Update—. Losing my patience with ILGM !!
2nd cultivar I’ve purchased from them that haven't flipped (auto’s). Problem switching to 12 hours- the Photo’s in the same tent aren’t ready to be flipped !
Let’s see what they say !
@juglans I’ve since moved on from them, just a few seeds left, maybe toss them outside next Spring!
Update- after being in contact with ILGM, they are giving me store credit for these two afghan’s, and the two super lemon haze’s from grow #1 that didn't flip. I had germination issues early on, but TBF, I think that was more me! My current germination process is working great, regardless of seed bank.
I’m OK with store credit, other than the smaller harvest and inconvenience, they did their best to make good. 
. I’m glad they didn't try and replace them with more auto’s, I’ll be able to replace the bean’s with Photo’s. For a lot of reason’s, I’m done with Auto’s regardless of seed bank. Especially when I switch back to RDWC, I can’t have plants switching when “they” feel like it, impossible to cater nutz to plants at different life cycles with a central rez!
I’ve since received the credit via email— they did a little better than just replacing 4 beans for the inconvenience. Good customer service at least
Day 39 veg (as mentioned, no signs of flower yet!). I don’t want to cut the lights back, cuz Grow #5 is residing in the other side of the tent, and is far from ready for to flip. I have a 6th. grow started also, so these auto’s not flipping is affecting three grows (two tents). I have some back up plans, but each plan will result in less potential yield. My original plan was Grow #4, two autos on one side of my 4x4, Grow #5 two Chocolope Photos in the other side of the 4x4, see if i can kill them via mainlining. And Grow #6, Bruce Banner auto in the 2x2.
If these Afghan’s aren’t showing sign’s of flowering by the time I top the Chocolope, I have two options I think, and I’m leaning toward option #2 for max potential yield.
1). I’m Moving one Chocolope to the 2X2 and mainline, and leave the rest in the 4x4 and cut the lights to 12hrs !!!
2). Back to the original plan for the Afghan’s-
Then move the survivor to the 2x2 and cut the hours. Then leave Grow #5 & #6 in the 4x4 (then hear me bitch in four weeks when the Bruce Banner Auto from ILGM doesn’t flip!!) LOL.
Other than not flipping yet, the Afghan’s seem to be doing ok.
Actually, two Afghan’s and two Chocolope was my 2nd original plan (TBC)! LOL
@sevans1965, can you try and cover them and do a light deprivation thingy, somehow. Bag them?
For a lot of reason’s, I’m done with Auto’s regardless of seed bank.
I know it’s frustrating but there’s some excellent autos out there. Barney’s farm autos have never failed me and yield fantastic. Several others I’ve tried with great success are Seed Stockers, Seedsman, and Garden of Green, all went 100% to plan. Unfortunately some breeders cut corners breeding autos and don’t take the line out far enough to stabilize it. I’ve had very mixed luck with Fastbuds so I stay clear of them. Never tried ILGM but have heard very mixed reviews of their stock, germination being the biggest complaint I’ve heard.

@monkeydo I’ll use the store cred for photo’s, but lately I’ve been buying from WSE and Ali-Bongo. I still have some of their stuff in inventory I’ll use up, and that’ll be it !
But I can’t complain about their customer service !
@monkeydo 90% of the seed sellers are not really doing any breeding. They just sell seeds. Does even barneys farm do their own breeding? Barneys is one of the better ones in europe... But they too have lots of different phenos from their "strains". No breeding in barneys ig or anything. They probably have few small mystery breeders who do seeds and crosses for them.
Sensi still has pictures from 90s in their catalog and its well known that they lost all their original stuff.
Spanish seed banks probably breed most in europe. Greenhouse seeds is probably only one in holland.
Csi humboldt and riot seeds are the ones i respect most. Greenhouse and sss after that.

Day 45. (Week 1 of flower).
Flipped lights to 12 hours on 10/13/2022. I started seeing signs of early flower a few days later, coincidently I think they were flipping about the same time I cut the lights back. Upside to the late flip, more time for LST.

Heading into Week 2 of flower. Gave them their last weekly shower last night b4 I read them their bedtime story. Trying to up the intensity for these two without burning the younger residents, so playing around with light height.
When I started this diary, the grow was going to be in a smaller tent/light. But now they are sunbathing under the Photontek 600Pro (in the 4x4), running @ 75% at the mo. I’m averaging 600 at the afghan canopy, the younger girls are seeing 470-500’ish (I’d rather it be a wee bit lower!).
But I really want to crank up the power, any opinions how long I should wait, keeping the younger girls in mind?
Good Saturday morning to ya @sevans1965, congrats on the new tent and light, your doing great there Dead-I, and so glad you got a Par meter too!! Yay! Now you can see what the hell your doing! lol My PAR meter was possible the best investment next to my EC-PH meter, I absolutely love mine and it's answered a lot of questions.
I try and move up in 50 PAR increments, I'll increase sometimes everyday in veg or slow it down to every other day or so depending on their health. I was told (by my mentor) to try a be at around 900 at the beginning of flower, when I see flowers starting not at flip. This is very HIGH according to everyone else, so you've been warned just like I was. Chillbert told me to increase till they pray and then stop, don't look at the numbers look at the plant, that works too. When mine come out of the Germination Station under the T-5's their at 320 PAR in seedling stage.
I would give them an increase and see how they like it. Now I'll probably get bashed for not using DLI, but shit happens. 🤣 Your doing great man! 👍

I had some Afghani seeds I never grew & gave them away never got to see how that turned out so it will be nice to see what they are like esp the high gain
