Interesting watering solution.

I love Apple Fritter, one of my fav strains.

Update

Man I have been loosing track of time and barely checking on this girl. A couple weeks ago she was yellowing. This from what I can tell was a water pH issue with the bottle sitting. I removed the bottle and fed a flower salt nutes feed. This was to get a lower pH in the soil as well as the flower to have ready to take up nutrients as she was locked out. I have since watered with Recharge and this is the result of the feed and microbial water. The feed was last week and the recharge was 2 days ago. I did top dress when I removed the bottle to carry over into flower and flipper her 6 days ago.

Continued LST this whole time trying to keep it even but she hasn’t even hit stretch yet. As soon as she does, I’m gonna be minimal about it.

Here is another week at my attempt at Apple Fritter.

Was really happy with the plant health turn around after the watering incident, and let’s be honest, getting lazy. Picked it back up last week with a 2L watering at 6.0 pH. Lower as we are still recovering from giving straight tap. Looking nice and even shade of green and starting to see the bud sites formation. 

Just watered again with some Recharge. Thanks for checking out my diary!

Here she is on day 17 from flip. I will be gone for some days on vacation, so I just watered her with more Recharge. 

She has stretched about 3-4” as my light was set at 14” at flip. Don’t see any light issues so I’m gonna leave it while I’m gone. Hopefully she won’t stretch into the light, but let me know your thoughts. I may just raise the light to be safe.

We couldn’t be happier with her. There was some yellowing of the lower leaves, but I think she was just so thick from finishing stretch. It ended up working out that coming back from vacation put me at 23 days after flip. After this weeks podcast, I decided to go for a described lollipop. It’s more than I have done in the past, but we always talk about trying it just a little different. 

Watered after the trim. Looks good to me.

Looks like she loved it. Watered yesterday with some recharge. You can see some lower leaves starting to yellow, but likely do to being under canopy. Not gonna worry about it. Looks happy to me 🤷‍♂️

Update

Gonna just dump photos at the end. Over the past week those lower fan leaves have been getting crispier. Ended up giving some salt nutes, more for water pH than anything else. My water out the tap is close to 8. So the mix I use comes closer to 6. Then it’s just gonna be some more Recharge.
Might consider stopping feed next week. We shall see.

Update

She Didn’t look very happy last week and I need up pulling a couple lower fan leaves that yellowed out. She is still curling down and getting lighter. I know I can feed more but I’m still doing a feed and a recharge of 2L about every 2-3 days. I still feel like I don’t know anything about growing. Fan leaves are going yellow but sugar leaves are even shade.

This is going to be the last grow before we move on to bigger and better, so as long as I try, I should have enough weed to last. Pictures coming up… let me know how you would approach.

got back from vacation and she was unhappy. No bud issues but damn near all fan leaves were discolored and crunchy. Ended up cutting down and thrown into the dry tent. Didn’t even get a final canopy pic. Can’t wait to start the grow up again but tent has officially come down.
