Don’t limit your suspicions to just seed banks, somehow our names and addresses are being sold. That’s why I was backtracking recent purchases from anyone remotely related to this way of life.
the newest company ive most recently purchased from in the last year is “spider farmer” and “Cropsalt’s. . I’ve purchased other products, in the last year, but have purchased from the same companies for a number of years without this BS happening.
I choose not to contact the company unless it happens again, part of me thinks if I responding in any way, verifies to them they have good contact info! Needless to say, they will never get my business.

That is really scary shit it would freak me out big time. I get annoyed enough with junk mail .spam . People ringing me about the accident I was involved in and other bs that has nothing to do with me .
I really hate the idea that my data is available out there on the Internet. Here in the UK there are cameras everywhere and now stuff listens to me, I value my privacy. Oh no ranting now

@sevans1965 I have to say, I've had a different experience with HGCC. Nothing as blatant and potentially harmful as yours, though, just "off" enough to make me not really trust them. Plenty of other banks out there I don't have that issue/feeling with so, for me, there's no point in doing business with HGCC in the future. My one and only interaction with them was the 4 failed seeds in my original 1st grow diary. Yes, I messed up but that doesn't explain why the other 3 seeds popped but didn't grow and thrive. Also, yes, they sent me 4 replacement seeds without an argument, but they didn't show up properly packaged as was described by HGCC, rather from some other, unknown and near impossible to find, seed supplier in a state other than where HGCC is based. Add that to the fact that they were selling them as their own product, yet don't list that specific strain in their catalog. All that is probably meaningless, though couple it with your experience and I have to think hard about having any interaction with them. Even their discussion board is...well, let's just say that's where I came to this group from because I was looking for a MUCH better experience.
